Scrape your tongue!

Yes we are not kidding: besides brushing our teeth, flossing or mouth-washing, we should all scrape our tongues.

As per the Ayurvedic self-care ritual called Jihwa Prakshalana, tongue scraping, is an an oral hygiene practice that removes bacteria, food debris, fungi, toxins, and dead cells from the surface of the tongue.

When we sleep, our digestive system removes toxins from our body by depositing them onto the surface of our tongue. If we let these toxins, they get reabsorbed by the body and can lead to respiratory difficulties, digestive problems, and a compromised immune system.

So go to a pharmacy, buy a tongue scrapper and use it once a day. It is pretty straight forward to use, you can do it!

And the best part is that you will see plenty of benefits: your breath will get fresher, your  taste buds will feel liberated, your toxins will disappear, your dentist will be happy and you will also digest better.

Go for it!
