Pomegranate Smoothie

One of the coolest fruit that we can still find in the winter is definitely pomegranate. It’s amazingly healthy (antioxidant, anti-cancer, reduce arthritis, good for your hearth, symbol of fertility, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, the list is endless!!). It’s also super beautiful and gives a really pretty color to your juices and smoothies.

Pomegranate Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1 orange
  • handful of blueberries
  • 2,3 frozen bananas
  • 3 dates
  • 1 cup cold astragalus tea (if not use filtered water)

Instructions:

  1. Seed the pomegranate, blend all the seeds in a blender. Strain, keep the juice and pour it back in the blender
  2. Peel the orange and the fruit in the blender
  3. add the blueberries, dates, bananas, tea and blend it all together

Drink up! You might feel like you have super powers, this is a very normal side effect.
