One of the coolest fruit that we can still find in the winter is definitely pomegranate. It’s amazingly healthy (antioxidant, anti-cancer, reduce arthritis, good for your hearth, symbol of fertility, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, the list is endless!!). It’s also super beautiful and gives a really pretty color to your juices and smoothies.
Pomegranate Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 pomegranate
- 1 orange
- handful of blueberries
- 2,3 frozen bananas
- 3 dates
- 1 cup cold astragalus tea (if not use filtered water)
Instructions:
- Seed the pomegranate, blend all the seeds in a blender. Strain, keep the juice and pour it back in the blender
- Peel the orange and the fruit in the blender
- add the blueberries, dates, bananas, tea and blend it all together
Drink up! You might feel like you have super powers, this is a very normal side effect.
