Meditate

MeditateI have been doing this for the past month and I think it’s working…

Every day, either when you wake up or go to sleep, sit still on your bed. You can sit on your pillow to keep your back straight, cross your legs, put your hands on your thighs, close your eyes, breathe deeply and let everything go…

Stay still as long as you feel like it, 1 minute, 2, 3 maybe 5 minutes or even more. It doesn’t matter. The goal here is to allow some time for yourself to focus and go deeper into your inner self.

It may sound a bit sad that we have to force ourselves to do this. But, oh well, our lives have taken this path where we are all running around, doing all kinds of things and complaining that we do not have time for anything.

Well, just don’t think like that anymore 🙂

I am totally convinced that if we try this on a daily basis, then eventually it will become part of our life, we will be able to meditate walking in the street, sitting in the subway, making dinner, etc

Of course, you will have thoughts, fears, doubts, sadness, all the time even when you meditate. Just observe these feelings, do not judge yourself, let your thoughts float in the room as if they were bubbles.

And one day, “pop”, “pop”, maybe you will feel less bubbles around you. No hurry, no worry, just keep allowing some special time to clear your mind and re-boost your body.

And listen to music, always a good remedy!
